Gonna have to face it,

I'm addicted to cropping! Please accept my sincerest apologies, all you Robert Palmer fans. Just couldn't resist it because today's generous sponsor is Crop Addict. Crop Addict specializes in wonderful monthly kits. Who doesn't love getting scrap supplies delivered to your doorstep? You think it's easy coming up these great kits every month? Oh yeah? Well, I dare you; I double dog dare you.

Today's challenge is to create a kit! What do you think would coordinate well together? Try to mix manufacturers and stick to a theme (your choice of theme, of course). Generally the retail value of the kit should be around $25-$35, but you don't have to worry about being exact. We can put cardstock at $0.55 per piece and patterned paper at $0.65. If you are looking for ideas for what to include, check out Crop Addict's store. Edited to clarify: The kits do not have to be from things you have on hand. Feel free to browse the internet for that supply that has just the right touch.

Email your kit ideas to Pubcalls@gmail.com by 6 p.m. EST tomorrow, Sunday 2/18. I'm doing this rather than in comments so no one "borrows" your idea. In your email, indicate whether you want to keep your idea private, or if I can post it at the end of the contest. There will be four winners:

  • Best Themed (coordinates well around a theme)
  • Most Creative Theme (okay, a little craziness is fully expected)
  • Prettiest, Yummiest Picture (YEP, pull the kit from your supplies and take a photo to attach to your email!)
  • Totally, Completely, Unequivocally Random
Each winner will receive a package from Crop Addict valued at $50! Don't get too obsessed over this; it is supposed to be fun. There are great prizes here, so give it a shot. You know you're addicted too. ;)

Edited to clarify: The kits do not have to be from things you have on hand. Feel free to browse the internet for that supply that has just the right touch. Of course, that would not qualify you for the picture prize, but there are still three other prizes just waiting for the right kit!

question: does it have to be papers and supplies we have on hand?? Or can we put together a kit by browsing internets stores and doing it that way?

TIA
